Starfish Program
A Mentoring and Coaching Program for Women who have experienced domestic violence or sexual assault and want
to live their best lives
Welcome to the Starfish Program!
The Starfish Program is a unique coaching program for any woman who has experienced any type of abuse, domestic violence and/or sexual assault at any time in her life.
During this program you will have the opportunity to move beyond these experiences and find the true direction you want your life to take. You will have the ability to build your skills, increase self-esteem, develop healthy coping skills and make your personal dreams become a reality.
This program is eighteen months long. The group meets twice per month and coaching also takes
place one to one. As we progress you will have the opportunity to receive financial help to achieve your goals. You also get to be surrounded by women who are on the journey to lead their best lives, develop friendships and positive community connections.
You will be mentored by a thriving survivor who has experienced abuse and/or assault and has overcome those experiences to lead her best life. Cara Ruff will be your life coach. She is also the Executive Director of Independent Lifestyles and Camp Bliss, she is an author, advocate, mom and fearless guide for women who want to overcome the past and start living the life they want!
There is NO COST to you. Your only obligation will be to do your best and participate fully.
Once participants are selected, a meeting schedule is created to accommodate all participants.
